Food preservation

Now that the summer harvest has begun, so has the task of preserving the bounty for the winter. I spent the majority of my life in a warm climate with a year round growing season. My year round CSA was absolutely taken for granted until we moved to the great snowy north. Eating local has become a passion of mine and has led me to experiment with different preservation techniques.
